Here at Revolver, we're always on the hunt for new songs to bang our heads to — indeed, it's a big part of our jobs. With that in mind, here are the tracks released this week in alt-metalcore, death-metal, industrial and more that have been on heavy rotation at Revolver HQ. Marthe - "Further in Evil"
Last year, we named Marthe an Artist You Need to Know after she signed to Southern Lord on the strength of her 2022 single "Victimized," a towering, crusty black-metal blitzkrieg.
At last, the one-woman project of Italy's Marzia will be releasing her debut LP next month, and the record's first single is a magnificently gnarly crust-metal number that sounds like Bathory, Electric Wizard and Amebix all at once. "Further in Evil" whips.
Blood Incantation - "Obliquity of the Ecliptic"
After snatching the tech-death throne with their first two acclaimed LPs, Blood Incantation left many fans scratching their heads with last year's Timewave Zero, a wordless, guitar-less ambient-synth album that was only metal in its foreboding mood.
On "Obliquity of the Ecliptic," the Denver auteurs find a happy medium, blending the textured analog synths into an epically psychedelic death-metal suite filled with guitar heroics and feedback that feels like you're being sucked into a black hole.

Crosses - "Ghost Ride"
††† (Crosses) released two singles this week from their upcoming album, and "Ghost Ride" is our preferred pick. After a surprisingly crushing lead single, Deftones' Chino Moreno and Far's Shaun Lopez explore the project's moodier, side on "Ghost Ride."
Here, Moreno beckons to "let the prey in" above flickering electronic drums and squelchy synths that prance and pounce like hungry wolves in the snow. By the end it knocks hard, but it takes its sweet time getting there, and the intervening atmosphere is what's so alluring.

END - "The Sin of Human Frailty"
At their best, END are disgustingly heavy. "The Sin of Human Frailty," the latest single from their forthcoming sophomore LP, is fucking putrid.
Counterparts screamer Brendan Murphy unleashes a ferocious howl in this band that wouldn't sound out of place in a death-metal band, and the backing instrumentation on this track is a cacophonous fusion of neck-snapping mathcore skronkiness and bottom-heavy deathcore savagery. Disgusting.
Spite - "Thank You, Again" (Feat. Phil Bozeman)
Good fucking lord. With a name like Spite, you already know what you're in for, but with Whitechapel's Phil Bozeman in the mix, the California deathcore unit sound positively wrathful.
"Thank You, Again" has several explosive breakdowns that might make you turn down the music to make sure what you just heard wasn't a car bomb detonating outside your front window. Plus, the vocal interplay between Bozeman and Spite's Darius Tehrani is fucking feral.
Corey Taylor - "All I Want Is Hate"
For the most part, Corey Taylor's new solo album, CMF2, serves as an outlet for him to stretch his legs into other styles of non-metal music; anthemic hard-rock, acoustic balladry, old-school punk. But there is one moment on the 13-song affair where Taylor goes beast mode, and that's "All I Want Is Hate."
Bringing out his iconic Slipknot howl, this snarling rager blurs the metal force of Taylor's main band with the swaggering hard-rock guitars and punky structure of his solo proclivities. Naturally, it's our favorite of the bunch.
