In Episode 4 of our "Lyric Dissector" series — in which artists break down the lyrics to standout songs — Matt Tuck walks us through a line-by-line examination of "Over It," the debut single from Bullet for My Valentine's forthcoming record, Gravity. The vocalist/guitarist explains how the final lyrics written for the LP served as his therapy session for deep personal frustration behind the scenes. "There's only so much longer that you can keep on trying to help someone when they don't want to be helped," he says. In addition, Tuck explains how he hopes the song, which he describes musically as "a lot more freight train than sprint running," will connect with fans.
