It's a new day for Chelsea Wolfe. Last month, the gothic singer-songwriter dropped a new song called "Dusk," announced a 2024 headlining tour, and revealed that she had signed with Loma Vista Recordings. All of that good news felt like setup for a new album announcement, and now it's here.
Wolfe will be releasing her new solo album, She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She, early next year, and today (October 24th) she's shared another fresh single from it called "Whispers in the Echo Chamber."
Compared to the trip-hoppy "Dusk," this new track is similarly haunting for the first two thirds until it utterly explodes during its finale with snarling guitar chugs and feral growls. Its video, directed by George Gallardo Kattah and filmed in Columbia, is nightmarishly wild in the best way possible.

"It feels like a love story between myself and my sleep paralysis entity, who, for the sake of this video, represents a calm inner voice cutting through mental chatter and anxiety to help guide me towards a more authentic path," Wolfe said in a press release.
"From the inward to the outward, this entity shows me the expansiveness of new possibilities, if only I'll take the first difficult steps."
She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She marks Wolfe's first solo album in four years. She worked extensively with Tyler Bates on the 2022 soundtrack for A24's slasher movie X, and teamed up with Converge on 2021's post-metal journey, Bloodmoon: I, but it's been since 2019's Birth of Violence that Wolfe released a proper solo album.
The new record will arrive Feburary 9th via Loma Vista, and Revolver has an exclusive "translucent berry" vinyl variant that's limited to just 500 copies. Pre-order yours from our shop.
