They did it. Coal Chamber, the nu-metal vets helmed by DevilDriver's Dez Fafara, played their first show in eight(!) years yesterday (May 13th) at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas.
The newly reunited band, who previously broke up for the second time in 2016, took the stage in the middle of a packed day for nu-metal lovers (System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, Incubus and many other genre leaders also played), and had fans going loco.
Coal Chamber only got to play a 30-minute, seven-song set amid the stack's festival's busy schedule, so Fafara and Co. stuck to the crowd-pleasers, and the audience ate that shit up.
Of course, fans had their phone cameras up for this show, and you can watch video of the performance below via YouTube, as well as the whole setlist courtesy of Setlist.fm
