On Friday (October 7th) Coheed and Cambria's Claudio Sanchez announced his new horror comic book, My Brother's Blood Machine. To herald the news, the singer-guitarist made an appearance at New York Comic Con, followed by a live interview and performance presented by the Grammy Museum at the Leonard Nemoy Theater.
The after party took place at Hotel Selina in Chelsea, where family, friends and industry folks gathered to celebrate the launch amid spooky, Halloween-attuned music curated by DJ David Castillo (a.k.a. one-man industrial outfit Confines, lead singer of Primitive Weapons and co-owner of Brooklyn metal stronghold Saint Vitus Bar.) All of Coheed attended the party along with movers and shakers from Rocnation, SiriusXM, Roadrunner Records, Sumerian Records, Billboard Magazine, HEAYVs Audio, Coney Island Beer, Southern Tier, Fans of Tomorrow and Skateboard Marketing, as well as members of Good Charlotte, Kayo Dot, Spotlights and more.
