When Revolver talked to Crosses — the electronic-rock project of Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno and Far guitarist Shaun Lopez — late last year, they promised that they have a lot more music in the pipeline. Turns out they weren't kidding.
Today (August 4th), the duo announced their long-awaited new album, Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete. — Crosses' first full-length release in nine years — and offered up its lead single, the soaring yet concussive "Invisible Hand," along with its cinematic music video. Watch and listen above.
Due out October 13th, Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete. is the follow-up to 2022's PERMANENT.RADIANT EP and features big-name guest contributions from the Cure's Robert Smith and Run the Jewels' EL-P.
"When we started working on [the album], there was so much more light coming in my life, for numerous reasons," Moreno commented. "There's a lot more optimism. Even the darker themes are more romanticized and not coming from a place of despair."
In addition to the album announcement and latest single, Crosses also announced four new live dates, including two shows at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and one East Coast gig, in Brooklyn, New York.
