Bring Me the Horizon were initially supposed to unveil their long-awaited new EP, Post Human: Next Gen, in September. Then, just a couple weeks before release, Oli Sykes and Co. announced that it had sadly been pushed back indefinitely due to "unforeseen circumstances."
To keep us tide over, Bring Me the Horizon have now released another single from the project called "DArkSide" — which follows 2021's "DiE4u," 2022's "sTraNgeRs," and the two they've dropped this year, "LosT" and "AmEN!".
All of those tracks have had their own unique vibe to them (as the chameleonic pop-metal band are wont to do), and "DarKside" definitely leans on the poppier side of their sound. Its chorus is absolutely anthemic, while the verses have bouncy nu-metal riffs and a delivery from Sykes that evokes Linkin Park.

There's still no word on when Post Human: Next Gen will arrive, but at least we have a big handful of preview tracks to run back until it comes.
