Last month, In This Moment announced their highly anticipated eighth album, GODMODE, the follow-up to 2020's Mother, and unleashed its explosive lead single, "The Purge." Today (August 22nd), singer Maria Brink, guitarist Chris Howorth and Co. have followed that song up with the LP's title track, a punchy, sultry, Nine Inch Nails-esque cut that arrived accompanied by a hypnotic visualizer video.

"The lyrics came from feeling powerful and tribal and entrancing," vocalist Maria Brink commented of the new single. "The fact that Chris gets me so much that I can literally send him a voicemail and he sends it back to me in music form shows how in tune we are. It's been a long time since I screamed on an entire verse for a song. I wanted to release a bunch of stuff and it felt visceral."
In addition to the new album, In This Moment also have a month-long tour with Ice Nine Kills coming this fall. (INK frontman Spencer Charnas notably guests on the GODMODE song "Damaged.") Dubbed the Kiss of Death Tour, the trek is set to kick off November 3rd and wrap December 2nd, with Avatar and New Years Day playing in support.
GODMODE is due October 27th via BMG and available for pre-order on vinyl and CD at Revolver's shop.
