Like pretty much every other classic nu-metal band you can think of, Orgy are riding the genre's current revival wave. The L.A. goth-rock crew — championed by Jonathan Davis, who signed them to Korn's Elementree Records imprint — came to prominence in the late Nineties courtesy of their punchy cover of New Order's "Blue Monday" and their earworm original single "Stitches," both featured on 1998's Candyass.
25 years later, Orgy are set to play the sold-out Sick New World in Las Vegas in May, and ahead of that nu-metal, goth and industrial extravaganza, they've offered up a new single, the slick, poppy "Empty." Stream it above via YouTube.
"I'm excited to finally start getting these tracks out for Orgy again," vocalist Jay Gordon commented. "As we move toward a new direction musically speaking, I wanted to put a track out that has a bit of that signature Orgy sound, and hint at what's coming next. Hope everyone will see the big picture and enjoy this track called 'Empty' about being drained from always trying to make everyone happy."
