Jesu, Nothing, Prurient: Vision and "Paradox" Behind Epic Live Collaboration

On November 5th, 2017, three forward-thinking artists who've made their names pushing the boundaries of "heavy music" — Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu), Nothing and Dominick Fernow (Prurient) — joined forces for a one-off collaborative performance to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Fernow's record label Hospital Productions. In the first episode of our exclusive three-part documentary, we join the musicians in a Brooklyn practice space for a glimpse at their pre-show rehearsals, during which they reveal how the collaboration came about and the core musical "contradiction" that they all share.
