It's happening. Korn have officially announced their collaboration with the clothing company adidas, and the collection is launching later this month.
The nu-metal pioneers have been rocking adidas tracksuits and sneakers since the early Nineties, and are almost single-handedly responsible for bringing the athletic street-wear look into metal. Of course, they also have their beloved Life Is Peachy song "A.D.I.D.A.S" — an acronym for a much naughtier phrase, but that also signals their undying love for the three stripes.
Now, Korn will be officially welcomed into the adidas family with a new merch line that blends Korn's imagery with adidas' iconic style.
The first collection pays tribute to Life Is Peachy and comprises two graphic T-shirts, a Three Stripes hoodie with the band's logo on the front, and two signature takes on the quintessential adidas Originals tracksuit: one in black with white accents and one with purple sequins.
The footwear collection features a custom take on the chunky Campus 00s silhouette and a daring update to the Supermodified sneaker. Both looks boast a suite of unique details including graphic insoles, spare laces, Korn logos, a guitar pick keychain and a co-branded box.
The Korn x adidas Originals collab will be available for purchase on October 27th. Check out the teaser video and lokobook photos below.
