Revolver has teamed with Venera for an exclusive color vinyl variant of their self-titled debut. Only 300 made — order yours.
Last month, Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer revealed that he was the man behind the mysterious new Venera project, who had dropped an eerie ambient-noise track, "Swarm," the month before on Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings label.
The nu-metal guitarist and his partner-in-crime, composer/filmmaker Chris Hunt, already dropped a second, similarly oblique electronic song from their forthcoming self-titled debut, and today (September 13th) they're back with another called "Disintegration."
The track features avant-garde drummer Deantoni Parks, who's collaborated with the likes of John Cale and The Mars Volta, and "Disintegration" has a manic, percussive energy that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
