The Original Misfits — featuring founding members Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only — have announced a big new show for 2022. Previously, the reunited horror-punk pioneers had just two live dates in their schedule book, September 17th at Riot Fest in Chicago and October 9th at Aftershock in Sacramento, California. But since it's not truly Halloween without a Misfits show, the devilocked demons have lined up a special gig for All Hallows Eve weekend on Saturday, October 29th. The lucky town? Dallas, Texas.
Shock-rock legend Alice Cooper and punk-rock veterans the Distillers are set to open the show at Dos Equis Pavilion. Tickets for the event will go on sale next Friday, August 12th at 10:00 a.m. via LiveNation.
For those heading to Riot Fest to see the Misfits play, you lucky bastards will get to see a special 40th anniversary full-album performance of their classic 1982 debut, Walk Among Us.
