Last night (July 20th) at Florida's iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre, Mudvayne launched The Psychotherapy Sessions, the band's first headlining trek in 14 years. It was also a milestone night for fellow nu-metal pioneers Coal Chamber, who played in direct support and, in doing so, kicked off their first tour in eight years.
Opening the show were GWAR, Nonpoint and Butcher Babies, making for a very, very hot evening. Literally. Temperatures in Palm Beach soared into the triple digits.
But the bands, and the fans, persevered through the heat and humidity, raging and rocking as the Coal Chamber introduced new songs to their reunion setlist — including "Big Truck" and "El Cu Cuy" — and Mudvayne gave "Fish Out of Water" and their cover of the Police's "King of Pain" their live debuts.
Photographer Kevin Wilson was in the house to capture all the action — check out some of his standout shots below.
