Muse are going through a bit of a heavy phase. Earlier this summer, the prog-rock Brits covered part of Slipknot's "Duality" at a big festival, and there was a song on their new album called "Kill or Be Killed" that actually has a double-bass section and even a stray death growl. Early next year, they'll be coming across the pond to tour North America in support of their new record Will of the People, and they'll be bringing along gothic hard-rock vets, Evanescence, for the ride.
The tour begins February 25th in Chicago and will hit many cities throughout the U.S. and in Canada throughout the next couple months, wrapping up April 20th in Salt Lake City. Muse and Evanescence are pretty different bands in a lot of ways, but there's definitely enough crossover between their fanbases to make the pairing work, and surely both acts will benefit from each other's audiences getting acquainted with one another.
Tickets go on sale October 7th at 10 a.m. local time, and you can get yours here. See the full list of dates below.
