Ozzy Osbourne is bringing Ozzfest to the Metaverse — specifically, the second annual Metaverse Music Festival scheduled to take place in the Decentraland virtual world from November 10th-13th.
It will be the first time Ozzfest has been held since 2018, and the first time it has been held virtually ever. Ozzy himself is set to appear as one of the headlining acts, with more performers to be announced among a total of over 100 artists who will play the virtual event.
So far, the other announced performers include rapper Soulja Boy and DJ Eddy-Temple Morris, who will both also be making their appearances in avatar form.
The online event, which is in its second year, is free to attend, and users will not be required to wear a VR set. You can find more information here.
