Carrie Underwood has once again expressed her love for heavy-metal. Within the last year alone, the country star and American Idol winner has performed covers of Ozzy Osbourne's "Mama I'm Comin' Home," and Guns N' Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle," and now she's added a Motörhead cover to her resume.
During her opening set for Guns N' Roses this past Saturday (August 5th), Underwood busted out several covers by artists like Joan Jett, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, but ultimately roared into the end of her set with a fiery take on Lemmy and the gang's bona fide classic, "Ace of Spades."
Underwood and her band kept the arrangement quite faithful to the original version, but obviously the pop-rock singer put her own spin on Lemmy's snarled vocal delivery. Check out footage of the performance above via YouTube.
