Ghost have just announced that they will be joining Metallica on the thrashers' summer 2019 WorldWired European Stadium tour. The tour launches on May 1st in Lisbon, Portugal and will see the acts performing at 25 stadiums across 20 countries through August.
In typical, cryptically bizarre fashion, the masked Swedish act rolled out the announcement via a short video, which builds upon the previously released "Chapter 4" clip that saw Sister Imperator hospitalized after a fiery car crash.
In the new video, "Chapter 5: The Call," Imperator is still bedridden, wrapped in bandages. She receives a call from Papa Zero in which they discuss their love of the Omen films and briefly flirt with some supernatural phone sex … before Imperator is thrown by Papa Zero's zero chill: specifically that he's wearing his papal robes and sitting on the toilet.
Ghost will hit the road this fall in support of their last album Prequelle for their own headlining "A Pale Tour Named Death" trek, first in North America kicking off October 25 in Dallas, TX, and then in Europe beginning February 2019.
