Lamb of God are an incredibly fun band to cover. Their hulking, groovy, snarling, riff-laden metal songs can be easily transposed into death metal blasts or metalcore stompers, and back in 2013, Ukrainian metal trailblazers, Jinjer, put their own spin on LoG's immortal banger, "Laid to Rest."
The band fronted by Tatiana Shmaylyuk hadn't yet released their debut album at the time, and they were playing a small club in Sibiu, Romania, that current-day Jinjer fans would kill to see them play at. Even so, Jinjer roared into "Laid to Rest" with the confidence of seasoned vets and gave the song a faithful makeover that also had some of Jinjer's signature sound mixed in there.
