Do you miss the way Queens of the Stone Age sounded during the Songs for the Deaf era? Then Reach are the band for you. Following their April single "Killing Time," the NYC rock unit have returned today (September 8th) with "Ride or Die," and Revolver is premiering its music video above via YouTube.
The track is a rollicking fuzz-rock jam with huge, crunchy riffs and powerful vocals from frontman Rene Mata. Check it out above via YouTube.
"'Ride or Die' is for the people in your life that have your back and you have theirs unconditionally," Mata said in a press release. "Musically we drew from our favorite period of music the 90s. Some of the bands that inspired us are Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and Jane's Addiction."
Reach NYC are gearing up to release their upcoming sophomore, which doesn't yet have a title or release date, but is confirmed to feature a slew of special guests; Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, Kiiara, Sonny and Marcos from P.O.D, Joey Santiago from The Pixies and Sendog of Cypress Hill.
