Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has made a career out of being a scary, intimidating dude wearing a mask, but that doesn't mean he's immune to haunted house hijinks. The singer was recently filmed taking a tour of the Ohio State Reformatory — an allegedly haunted former prison where the Inkcarceration music festival is held — and Taylor nearly jumped out of his skin when an actor in a mask leaped out and gave him a good spook.
In footage of the self-guided tour, Taylor can be seen happily wandering through the dark, spooky prison hallways when — boo! — a person in a tattered mask and straight jacket leans out of one of the cells and shrieks just a few inches from the singer's face.
Of course, as a lover of horror movies and all things scary, Taylor fucking loved the fright, simultaneously screaming, leaping back and smiling wide, and then giddily jumping up and down with pure delight as he stepped forward for the next scare.
Inkcarceration posted the hilarious clip on their Instagram feed, captioning it, "well, well, well, how the turn tables," in reference to the fact that it's usually Taylor who's freaking people out with a mask on.
