They did it! Turnstile threw out the first pitch for their hometown baseball team, the Baltimore Orioles, marking the hardcore all-stars' MLB debut.
The Grammy-nominated band — singer Brendan Yates, guitarist Pat McCrory, bassist Franz Lyons and drummer Daniel Fang — collectively took the mound on Tuesday night's (August 8th) game between the Orioles and the Houston Astros at Camden Yards in Baltimore.
While on the field, the band snapped pictures with the Orioles mascot, did an interview with the team's TV network MASN, and then walked up to the pitcher's mound where the band collectively decided that McCrory would be the one to give the honorary toss.
The throw wasn't perfect, but it definitely looked like it landed somewhere in the strike zone, so good for McCrory. Check out footage of Turnstile's big moment on the field below via Instagram, and their interview via YouTube.
