On May 13th, Las Vegas hosted the inaugural Sick New World festival, a celebration of music and culture but mostly nu-metal. The sweltering Sin City event (temperatures topped 90 degrees) featured high-profile performances from System of a Down (their only scheduled show of 2023), Coal Chamber (their first show in eight years), Korn, Deftones, Incubus and dozens more.
