Many people consider Slipknot to be one of the greatest live metal bands of all time, and much of that pedigree is earned by frontman Corey Taylor's always-blistering performances.
On a new episode of the Steve-O's Wild Ride podcast, the Jackass star asked Taylor who he thinks the greatest live band of all time is. After mulling it over for a brief second, the 'Knot frontman gave the nod to grunge legends Alice in Chains.
"Jerry [Cantrell]... the whole band is amazing," Taylor said, as transcribed by Loudwire. "And the way that Sean Kinney, the drummer, swings as he plays because everything for them is naturally slower."
"The things that they do to manipulate the riffs because they're so sludgy anyway ... The way that they lock in together is fucking unreal. They're so good that it's criminal. To this day, they're that good."
Can't argue with that! Check out Taylor's interview with Steve-O below.
