Core Sunn O))) members Greg Anderson and Stephen O'Malley have announced a winter U.S. tour as the Shoshin (初心) Duo. Having released three Sunn O))) albums over the last three years — 2019's Life Metal and Pyroclasts and 2021's Metta, Benevolence BBC 6 Music : Live on the Invitation of Mary Anne Hobbes — the two drone pioneers will perform as a pair, promising "pure and primeval riffs of temporality, massively heavy structures of sound pressure."
