Yesterday (September 11th) on their official band Instagram, We Came as Romans singer Dave Stephens announced that the band will continue to play following the recent tragic death of co-vocalist Kyle Pavone. "We will not be replacing Kyle. We'll be continuing on the five of us, and honoring his life for the next few weeks while we're on tour," said Stephens. The band will continue ahead with their tour with Bullet For My Valentine and Bad Omens (see dates below), booked before Pavone's accidental overdose in late August.
The band want to take the opportunity in the upcoming shows to shed light on the Kyle Pavone Foundation, set up in the late singer's memory to help artists and their families struggling with addiction. Stephens announced in the clip, "We feel like this honors Kyle, and we can talk about his foundation ... and carry on doing what he would have wanted us to do and us be together on stage, playing music together, with our fans."
