KISS are counting down to the final date of their farewell tour — tomorrow, December 2nd at New York's Madison Square Garden — and on a recent Canadian stop, there were some revered heavy hitters in the audience and backstage. On November 18th, the makeup-clad classic rockers played Montreal's Centre Bell, and TOOL just happened to be in town and have a day-off before their own show the following night.
So what better to do than go see motherfucking KISS? Maynard James Keenan, Adam Jones, Justin Chancellor and Danny Carey not only caught the onstage spectacle, but they also got to hang with the Starchild, the Demon, the Spaceman and the Catman, and even took a photo together.
"When Tours cross paths," the prog-metal titans captioned said photo on Instagram, throwing in a fire emoji and three horns-up emojis. "Tool's night off in Montreal @kissonline #KissEndOfTheRoadtour final 50 dates... THANK YOU for the best VIP treatment and a AMAZING night."
TOOL wrapped up their 2023 touring schedule on November 21st in Toronto, but will hit the road again early next year.
