KISS announce final show of farewell tour

The end of the "End of the Road"
KISS promo 2023

KISS have announced their plan to wrap up their ongoing farewell trek, dubbed the "End of the Road" tour, on December 1st and December 2nd at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The news was broken today (March 1st) during an in-studio interview on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show.

KISS launched the goodbye tour in January 2019 but had to put it on hold in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The run was originally scheduled to wrap up on July 17th, 2021 in NYC but was then extended to late 2023. As KISS fans and detractors alike know very well, the End of the Road trek is not the first time the band has seemingly "retired," and on Stern, the band members specifically described the MSG shows as the end of the farewell tour, leaving the possibilities open for future one-off shows, residencies or festival appearances.

"KISS was born in New York City. On 23rd Street. Half a century ago," the band commented in a statement released shortly after their Stern appearance aired. "It will be a privilege and honor to finish touring at Madison Square Garden, 10 blocks and 50 years from where we first started."

Tickets will be available starting Monday, March 6th, with a KISS Army presale at 10am local time. Additional presales will be available throughout the week before the general on sale starting on Friday, March 10th at 10am local time at livenation.com.
